Challenge Message
Chemical recycling of mixed waste plastics, PVC, and organic waste, which conventionally had to be burned, into monomers, hydrogen, etc. at low temperatures
Product, service, and business features
Mixed waste plastics including PVC are decomposed into monomers, hydrogen, etc. at 200°C to 300°C, without organic solvents, using industrial water as a solvent and without precious metals as catalysts, and the world's first depolymerization from PET to methanol (according to our research, by 2023).
Organic wastes such as cellulose, lignin, agricultural waste, sewage sludge, and paper sludge are decomposed into hydrogen and other substances under almost the same conditions as those described above.

Bringing new cycles to plastics.AC Biode's innovative chemical catalyst "Plastalyst" decomposes and recycles plastics that were previously difficult to recycle.Operating at low temperatures and without solvents, it enables a future with zero environmental impact.See our panel display showcasing technology that circulates waste and advances the circular economy.
