The Great East Japan Earthquake has made us focus on Japan's energy problems, and we have commercialized the world's first "vertical-axis Magnus-type wind turbine" as a next-generation wind turbine that can generate power even under severe weather conditions, is quiet, and is friendly to both people and wildlife. Because of its vertical axis, this wind turbine can receive wind from any direction, and by controlling the magnus force, it can generate power even under strong winds such as typhoons. It is one option for wind power generation, and we are developing it for widespread use in island countries in Japan and abroad.
